Ahead of the 10th anniversary Media, War & Conflict conference in Florence in May, organisers have issued a call for papers on the “spaces of war and war of spaces”.
The aim of the conference is to reflect on transformations in the way war is “produced, enacted, negotiated and remembered” through the media. Relevant public media topics include; gender, war and media; digital media and war; journalism and war; publics, media and war; and terrorism, media and publics.
Deadline for extracts is 10 January 2018.
