The Public Media Alliance is hosting an event, in partnership with the Centre for Journalism and Democracy, which will explore the global value and impact of the BBC.

About the event
Join thought leaders and public media stakeholders for an afternoon event exploring the global impact and value of the BBC.
With the UK’s largest public service broadcaster currently engaged in Royal Charter negotiations, this event will explore beyond what the BBC does for British audiences. At this inflection point, we will look at why the BBC and its new Charter matters for media and audiences around the world.
Providing independent and impartial news and information to hundreds of millions of people globally; cooperating and collaborating with other public service broadcasters; exporting British content to international audiences; this event will draw on an internationally-minded panel of speakers to take a global view at what the BBC delivers.
