About the conference

The event is an annual conference hosted by members of the World Indigenous Broadcasters Network (WIBN) members. This year, it is being hosted by NRK Sápmi in Guovdageaidnu-Kautokeino, Sápmi – Norway, and is also open to media organisations outside of WIBN.

The conference will honour decades of Sámi broadcasting and storytelling while opening new pathways for collaboration among Indigenous content creators worldwide. It will celebrate the strength of cultural heritage, explore innovative approaches to media, and empower the next generation of Indigenous storytellers.

The conference is organised in partnership with the WIBN network, with support from the Public Media Alliance (PMA).
