Public Media Alliance is pleased to announce that its content arm WorldView will be partnering with Sheffield Doc/Fest & Bungalow Town Productions to offer an amazing opportunity for producers of the future.

With support from the Creative Skillset Film Skills Fund, the Future Producer School is a six-month training initiative in which ambitious and dedicated UK-based producers receive mentoring and training from key industry producers in the doc industry today.
This training is heavily subsidised and numbers are limited. Successful applicants are likely to have some existing producing credentials and be seeking to move into the international feature documentary stage.
The programme begins with a three-day residential workshop where you are trained by international executive producers, experts and mentors. You will then receive bespoke and one-to-one mentoring sessions in the lead up to Sheffield Doc/Fest in June 2016. You will take this forward to one of the world’s leading documentary marketplaces – Sheffield Doc/Fest – where you will be given access to Decision Makers in specifically designed matchmade one-to-one meetings sessions.

The primary outcome of Future Producer School is to provide training and real market expertise to producers that have limited experience in the industry, but have the ambition to become leaders in delivering international feature documentary films. The course also responds to a desperate need in the UK documentary industry for more international feature documentary producers.
For more information about eligibility and how to apply, head to the WorldView website.
Future Producer School 2016 is now open for applications (deadline 17:00 (GMT) 9 November 2015)
