Over-75’s licence fee: Where the responsibility lies
A great deal of ‘anti-BBC’ flak is flying at the moment as the public broadcaster has announced that it will end the provision of free licences for most over-75’s on 1 August 2020. But we must be very clear about where the real blame lies for this decision.
