The Public Media Alliance welcomes George Kasakula as the new Director General of MBC and encourages him to implement much needed reforms.

The BBC Board has appointed BBC Studios Executive Officer, Tim Davie, as the 17th Director-General of the BBC. Tim will take over from Tony Hall on 1 September.

Catherine Tait, President and CEO of CBC/Radio-Canada, has announced the appointment of Claude Galipeau as Executive Vice-President, Corporate Development.

It has been a year of change at the South African public broadcaster, as 2018 brings a new CEO, COO and CFO.
