To celebrate 50 years of service, Vanuatu’s broadcasting corporation launched a new platform for the island.

Vanuatu Broadcasting and Television Corporation (VBTC) has recently launched a new national television service and website, in conjunction with 50 years of Radio Vanuatu’s work.  

The new digital service was launched in collaboration with a Chinese private company, Guilin CEKE Communication Equipment. The service will feature 50 channels, including Chinese channels, TV5 Monde and NHK in Japan.

Viewers will be able to access an array of content with daily news updates, sports events, cultural and religious programmes as well as movies and children’s content.
