This year our broadcast travel bursars exchanged knowledge between 16 countries
Our programme enables staff from broadcast networks and partner NGOs to go on exchange, an event or training in another country for up to two weeks – sharing knowledge between broadcasters across the world, and bringing back fresh ideas to their organisation.
One of the bursars scored an interview with the PM of the country she visited, while another got a sought-after chance to be a foreign correspondent, filing stories for both her own broadcaster and the host.
Read about their trips in the serialised Twitter story below.
The Public Media Alliance is grateful to the Elizabeth R Broadcasting Fund and the Grace Wyndham Goldie Trust for their continued support for these bursaries.
